TOPIC: A Heart For The Kingdom (Seeds Of Destiny 27 September 2026)
SCRIPTURE: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:21
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Investment into the Kingdom influences your fulfilment on earth.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that your heart follows your investment. That is why you cannot claim to love the Kingdom while your resources are committed elsewhere.
The Roman centurion demonstrated this scriptural truth in Luke Chapter Seven.
Concerning him the elders of the Jews testified to Jesus, “for he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue” (Luke 7:5). You see, a heart for the Kingdom was what changed his story; it was what made Jesus to come.
Investment into the Kingdom contributes to man’s fulfilment on earth. Your seed into the Kingdom will reply to your needs when they arise. But there are people who have no seed to reply to the needs of their lives. When you are seedless, when your needs come up, nothing can help you. To be seedless is to be fruitless.
When the purpose of God does not interest you, the problems of your life will never attract Him. There are people going to church for years, yet they have never sacrificed anything for the Kingdom. When the offering basket is being passed around them, they just watch it pass by them to the next person. When it is time to build the church, to plant other churches, to send people on evangelism, to invest in television evangelism, or to even pay tithe; they look away. Yet when their problems arrive, they want God to help them. God seems to be saying: “You are not interested in Me, so I am not attracted to you. “Draw near to me, I will draw near to you” (James 4:6-7).
Don’t sit in church expecting a heavenly bank to credit you where you have made no deposit; God is your heavenly Father, not merely a source to withdraw from.
When was the last time you did something for God that touched you? Where you sow your seed will determine where you get your harvest. He that soweth to the flesh, from the flesh he will reap frustration, (Galatians 6:8) because he is spending all on what to eat, drink, wear, and drive. He that soweth to the spirit – so that churches can be built and the devil chased back to hell, will reap satisfaction. It is a matter of choice.
I came to a point in my life where I decided I would not spend anything on myself that I had not first given to God. I have been hard on myself but liberal toward the Kingdom, giving amounts I could have used to buy cars, not once, not twice. And the truth is, I do not need to spend money on hospital bills or fighting witchcraft attacks, because I have already seeded into the Kingdom, and the Kingdom attacks the need at its root.
Beloved, the Kingdom is not about what you have; it is about what you have released. Every seed planted into the things of God is a need already answered, and a battle already fought and won before it even arises.
REMEMBER THIS: Investment into the Kingdom influences your fulfilment on earth.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Examine what you have genuinely sacrificed for the Kingdom lately.
- Correct any area of seedlessness in your life.
- Choose one Kingdom project, evangelism, church building, or missions, and sow into it this week.
- Draw near to God through consistent giving and service, not merely attendance.
PRAYER: Father, forgive me for every form of seedless existence. Give me a heart that is liberal toward Your Kingdom. Let my seed answer my need before it arises and let my life bring You the fulfilment You desire, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
