Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Studies reveal that how a person handles financial resources is a true reflection of the state of his or her character. You cannot say anyone has character until you find out how he handles money. Money in the hands of a drug addict is different from money in the hands of a born-again child of God.
Scripture says, …the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Money itself is neither moral nor immoral; it is neutral. It is the person who handles money that determines whether it is used for good or for evil.
Religion & Belief
Many Christians are only different from unbelievers in church attendance. As far as money and other dealings are concerned, they behave like unbelievers. It is in money matters that the Christianity of a person can be authenticated. No wonder, our Master Jesus said, Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).
The problem is not you having money, but money having you. There are people who own money, and there are people money owns. It is a wonderful thing to master money, but a terrible thing to be mastered by money.
One major dimension of financial integrity is faithfulness in financial dealings. Joseph demonstrated this in Potiphar’s house. He was serving Potiphar, a high-ranking officer in Egypt, and Potiphar entrusted him with everything in his house, holding back nothing except the food he (Potiphar) ate (Genesis 39:6).
Today, many relationships have been destroyed because of money. There are people who cannot be entrusted with money without complaints arising afterwards. Everything you do in life is rating you for your future and destiny. Whether you work for the government, for a company, or for a ministry, you are preparing yourself for your future.
Many people have not been able to access the true riches of God. It seems God has turned His back on them regarding financial authority, because of how they have handled money and other responsibilities in the past. Remember the saying of Jesus: If you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? (Luke 16:12).
No one truly works for another person; you work for yourself. Everything you do prepares you for your future, whether it is faithfulness in money matters or faithfulness in another person’s business. Your financial integrity and faithfulness in other things determine your next level of blessing.
Beloved, money is a mirror; it does not create character, it exposes it. What you do with what belongs to another man today is God’s preview of what He can entrust you with tomorrow. Refuse cheating, double-dealing, and dishonest gain. Be faithful in managing what belongs to others because the true riches of the Kingdom are reserved for those whose character passed the test of unrighteous mammon.
REMEMBER THIS: Money is a mirror; it does not create character, it exposes it.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse every form of cheating and dishonest financial dealings.
- Be faithful in handling every financial responsibility entrusted to you.
- Ask God to help you master money instead of allowing money to master you.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to walk in financial integrity. Deliver me from every form of dishonest dealing, and make me faithful in little as well as in much, Lord, in Jesus’ Name
