TOPIC – Consecrated (Open Heaven for Teens, 1 November 2026)
MEMORISE: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; – 1 Peter 2:9
BIBLE READING: Romans 12:1-2
- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
MESSAGE:
Today’s Bible reading admonishes every child of God to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to God. This means that, as God’s child, you must live differently from the ways of the world; you must always choose God’s ways over the world’s noise, dress the way He wants you to, and even sleep when He wants you to. Being Consecrated doesn’t make you weird; rather, it makes you live with a purpose.
Beloved, you are part of a royal priesthood that has been chosen to shine God’s light; therefore, while others chase temporary things, you should focus on eternal treasures. Declare your faith by standing out boldly from the crowd, exhibiting godly virtues, and acting as led by God.
My dear child, I want you to know that consecrating your life to God requires a great deal of discipline and sacrifice; you Cannot simply talk or behave as you please, because your life is under the control of the Holy Spirit. However, I can assure you that the rewards, both on earth and in heaven, are favourable and fulfilling.
QUIZ: What does it mean to live a Consecrated ife?
KEY POINT:
A life that is consecrated to God is a life that is full of purpose.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:

HYMN 74 – Revive Thy Work, O Lord
1 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Thy mighty arm make bare;
speak with the voice that wakes the dead,
and make Thy people hear.
Refrain:
Revive Thy work, 0 Lord,
while here to Thee we bow;
descend, O gracious Lord, descend!
O come and bless us now.
2 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
now let us thirst for Thee;
and hung’ring for the bread of life
may all our spirits be.
3 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
exalt Thy precious name;
and, by the Holy Ghost, our love
for Thee and Thine inflame.
4 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
give pow’r unto Thy word;
grant that Thy blessed gospel may
in living faith be heard.
5 Revive Thy work, 0 Lord,
and give refreshing show’rs;
the glory shall be all Thine own,
the blessing, Lord, be ours.
