SCRIPTURE: And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The visionary life is a dynamic, energetic life.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that vision makes runners. Men and women of vision are agile and mobile people. Anyone who reads the written vision has no other option but to run. In other words, vision imparts dynamism, vitality, and energy to life. Vision infuses dynamism and vitality into life.

Dynamism is an antidote to decadence. The visionary life is a dynamic, energetic life.
Vision destroys laziness, indolence, and weakness. A man or woman of vision is a stranger to laziness, idleness, and weakness.
A life without dynamism begins to decay and degenerate. When a car is left parked, after a while, degeneration will begin to set in – its tyres go flat; the battery fails, the electrical wires begin to break, the metal body begins to rust, etc. It is worse with aircraft—an aviation expert told me about a brand-new plane bought and left parked for about six months. When they tried to fly it again, many challenges arose, one after another, because it was never meant to remain on the ground.
Any life not made dynamic by the force of vision will begin to degenerate. Consider an energetic man who goes to the office daily until retirement at age 65 or after 35 years of service. Those who know what they are doing, those who are ready for life after retirement; when they retire, they are set for a whole new engaging and active chapter in their lives, ready to gallop like a horse.
On the other hand, those who were never prepared for life after retirement, within one year after retirement, would drastically begin to age, losing their health, strength, and vitality. Before long, the once sharp, smart man begins to battle hypertension, stroke, etc.
Beloved, vision charges up the system. Ecclesiastes 10:18 says, By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
An abandoned or unused physical building will before long begin to crack, rodents and other unwanted creatures will begin to invade it, etc.
Beloved, vision brings dynamism, vitality, and energy to life. When people lack reasons to live, they begin to die inside, even if not yet physically.
Vision carries and transmits the forces of life. That is why, where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). This means, with vision, the people flourish, but without vision, the people perish.
REMEMBER THIS: The visionary life is a dynamic, energetic life
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Endeavour to have something you are living for.
- Refuse to be tired even if you have retired from salaried service.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to run with vision without getting tired. I refuse to be wearied out by the distractions of life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
