SCRIPTURE: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. – Joel 2:25.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: With God, nothing is ever too lost to be found. When restoration happens, it returns better, stronger, and complete.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE

Our anchor Scripture firmly established that our God is a God of restoration. He is not merely capable of restoring; He is a specialist in restoration. He has an infinite restorative capacity.

Restoration means the returning or bringing back of something forcefully taken away, lost, missing, stolen, or damaged to its rightful owner, original place, or former condition.

In Scripture, restoration is not an exception but a pattern:

At the wedding in Cana of Galilee, when their wine was exhausted, Jesus restored it with better, tastier wine (John 2:1–10).

The missing axe head was restored in 2 Kings 6:5–6 by the Power of God through the Ministry of Prophet Elisha.

The lost donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were restored (1 Samuel 9:20).

Naaman’s leprous skin was so restored that it looked better than its original pre-leprous state. In fact, his skin looked like that of a baby (2 Kings 5:14).

Even a dead child was restored to life through the prophet Elisha (2 Kings 4:18).
The Master, Jesus raised Lazarous back to life after he was dead and buried for four days (John 11:39-44).

These examples confirm one thing – God is still in the business of restoration, and He is ready to restore anything that has been lost in your life.

Beloved, please note the following about restoration:

  1. Nothing is too lost in God to be found. For as long as God is involved, recovery is guaranteed.
  2. Whatever is lost exists somewhere.
What is lost does not cease to exist; it only exists in a realm inaccessible to physical sight. Ice melts into water, and water evaporates into vapor; but none of these ceases to exist. They simply change form and location. In the same way, many blessings – material, marital, financial, or ministerial—exist in unseen realms, sometimes withheld by demonic forces.

Sometime ago, during one of our church services, we heard an interesting testimony of a woman who prayed until her stolen money materialized physically. This confirms that restoration bridges realms. What is held in the spirit can reappear in the physical when Divine force is applied.

  1. Whatever is lost can be found when adequate forces are applied. Restoration is not accidental; it is enforced. Just as in science, a force is required to reverse evaporation into ice. Spiritual restoration demands pressure in the form of prayer, faith, revelation, and prophetic force.

Forces of restoration:

  1. Desperate Pursuit
Desperate pursuit is the refusal to let go of what belongs to you. David pursued the lion and collected his father’s lamb back. (1 Samuel 17:34-36).

David also pursued the Amalekites and recovered all – wives, children, possessions; nothing was missing (1 Samuel 30:1-20).

Whatever the enemy has taken can be recovered by the deployment of spiritual force.
Beloved, losses persist because people give up too quickly. Restoration favors those who refuse to surrender.

  1. Scriptural Revelation:
Light is a recovery tool. The woman who lost a coin lit a candle and searched diligently until she found it (Luke 15:8–9). The candle represents the Word of God. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105.

The water Jesus used to restore wine also symbolized the Word (Ephesians 5:26). When the Word is introduced, what is missing reappears.

  1. Prophetic Impartation and Declaration.
God uses prophetic voices as instruments of recovery and restoration (Hosea 12:13).

Remember this: Nothing is ever too lost for God; when restoration comes, it returns better, stronger, and complete.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Search the Scriptures for light concerning your situation.
  2. Refuse to accept permanent loss in any area of your life.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You because You are the God of restoration. I receive restoration today, I decree the restoration of everything the enemy has taken from my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
