MEMORISE: “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;” – Psalm 149:6 (KJV)
READ: Jeremiah 30:18-22 (KJV)
18 Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord.
22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
In continuation of my discussion about the significance of the events of the day of Pentecost, I want to point out that those who listened to the disciples after they had been filled with the Holy Ghost said, “We hear them praising the good works of God in our various languages” (Acts 2:1-12). This means that there must be constant thanksgiving and praise to God if we want to experience a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ today.
When we meet to pray concerning our needs, God will show up. However, when we meet just to thank Him and acknowledge His greatness, He will manifest in a powerful way, and there will be a revival; miracles will become commonplace in our midst, and there will be many testimonies.
Years ago, I promised to visit one of the RCCG elders and told him I would spend just five minutes with him. Before I arrived, he had beautiful hymns and praise songs playing because he had observed that I am always humming songs of praise to God. I didn’t know when I spent one hour with him because I was enjoying the music. If you are God’s child and He always hears praises around you, He will definitely stay with you. God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3); He comes wherever He is exalted and extolled.
People who complain and murmur cannot host God’s presence. When the Israelites murmured, it displeased God, and at some point, His fire fell among them. Unlike the tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost, this fire burnt and consumed them (Numbers 11:1). When Paul and Silas were imprisoned, instead of complaining, they started praising God. God came into the prison and caused a great earthquake such that the foundations were shaken (Acts 16:25-26). When you praise God amidst difficulties, He brings solutions that men cannot deny, giving you blessings that extend to those around you. When the prison was shaken, all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bands were loosed.
Beloved, surrender your life to Jesus Christ if you haven’t done so and choose to live a life of praise. The Holy Spirit will dwell in you and manifest mightily around you. He will liberate you if you are in any form of bondage and bless you so much that the blessings will be evident in your life and in the lives of everyone connected to you.
ACTION POINT
Praise and thank God for 30 minutes. Don’t ask for anything; just praise and thank Him.
HYMN 17 – Praise My Soul, The King Of Heaven
1 Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
evermore his praises sing.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King!
2 Praise him for his grace and favor
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Glorious in his faithfulness!
3 Fatherlike he tends and spares us;
well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Widely yet his mercy flows!
4 Angels, help us to adore him;
you behold him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before him,
dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace!

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Over the past two days, I have been discussing the significance of the events that happened on the day of Pentecost. On that day, everyone in that upper room received a touch from God. Their hearts were tuned to God, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
If we truly want a revival in our generation, we cannot watch weak believers remain in their weak states. We must sharpen each other (Proverbs 27:17) such that the ‘weakest’ among us will be working miracles. If we’re really united, we won’t look away when we see a brother dozing when he should be praying; we will hold his hand to encourage him to pray. We will not see a sister dressing indecently and showing signs of backsliding without trying to encourage her faith. If someone’s fire seems to be dying, pray for the fellow rather than use him or her as a bad example to others to make yourself look righteous.
Everyone in the upper room on that particular day received a touch from God because they submitted to Him and to one another – nobody felt superior. In the 70s, I knew a young man called Bro Sam. He wasn’t a member of RCCG, but he was very popular because he was heavily anointed by God. He couldn’t speak English, but he was so anointed and was well sought after. On one occasion, he was invited to preach at a college. When he got up to say that he didn’t speak English and would need an interpreter, Queen’s English began to flow from his lips. He didn’t know what he was saying, but the message kept flowing. After about one hour, people began to rush forward, weeping and crying for salvation. As soon as he left the college, he couldn’t speak English again. There were testimonies of at least three dead people that God resurrected through him. Whenever he prayed for the sick, he would describe how their sicknesses were moving out of their bodies until they were completely healed. However, pride entered his heart after a while, and whenever he was called to go for Bible study, he would say, “Who is preaching? How many dead people has he raised?” Sadly, he ended up in an asylum.
Beloved, if we want God’s power to rest among us, we must shun pride and submit to one another in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:21). We must also look out for the feeble among us and lift them up.
ACTION POINT
Shun pride and lift your fellow believers up.
HYMN 24 – I Want To Be Like Jesus
1 I want to be like Jesus,
So lowly and so meek;
For no one marked an angry word,
That ever heard Him speak.
2 I want to be like Jesus,
So frequently in prayer;
Alone upon the mountain top,
He met His Father there.
3 I want to be like Jesus,
I never, never find
That He, though persecuted was
To anyone unkind.
4 I want to be like Jesus,
Engaged in doing good;
So that of me it may be said,
“He hath done what he could.”
5 I want to be like Jesus,
Who sweetly said to all,
“Let little children come to Me,”
I would obey the call.
6 But oh, I’m not like Jesus,
As anyone may see;
O gentle Savior, send Thy grace,
And make me like to thee.

MEMORISE: “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” – Romans 12:5 (KJV)
READ: 1 Corinthians 12:18-27 (KJV)
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
I started discussing yesterday about the impact of the day of Pentecost and how Christians must be focused and separated from the world for us to experience such a revival again. Another thing I must point out is that on the day of Pentecost, the disciples were in one accord. If we want to see the power of the Holy Spirit in action, there must be love and unity in the Body of Christ, irrespective of denominations.
Psalm 133:1-3 says that God commands a blessing when people are united. It didn’t say that God gives a blessing; it says that He commands a blessing. In other words, He says, “Blessing, you must manifest.” When there is genuine love and unity among the members of a church or fellowship, there is absolutely no doubt that every member of that fellowship will be blessed.
God’s power will not manifest in a divided church or family. Unity attracts God’s presence, just as sugar attracts ants. Likewise, if a church is full of strife, jealousy, and all sorts of carnal works, God’s power will be far from that church. Paul had to rebuke the Corinthian church for having factions. While some said that they were for Paul, some claimed that they were for Apollos (1 Corinthians 3:4). Paul called them carnal for their disunity. The Body of Christ is one, and if we want to experience God’s power and presence like on the day of Pentecost, we must lay aside our petty differences and focus on the One whose name we bear – Jesus Christ. We cannot attack one another and expect God to dwell among us.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. – Galatians 5:15
In the Scripture above, we see that when we live in disunity, we will consume one another. Many believers have injured other members of the Body of Christ with their words and actions. We must stop this and live in love and unity so that God’s presence and power can truly be manifested among us.
Loving one another and being united is a sure way of showing the world that we are truly Jesus’ disciples (John 13:35). We should not let unbelievers reject the gospel because they do not see love among us as Christians.
The body of Christ must unite. Gossiping, backbiting, and unhealthy competition among denominations must stop if we want to experience a true revival by the Holy Spirit.
ACTION POINT
Father, please help me to love others as myself and let there be unity among Christians
