TOPIC: Nothing Is Impossible

MEMORISE: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” – Luke 1:37 (KJV)

READ: Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 5-7

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. – Mark 9:23

Sometime ago, we had a Holy Ghost night in Canada. After the programme, some people rushed to touch the chair I sat on. However, one particular woman didn’t bother; she just went to my wife’s chair, knelt there, and prayed to God. The doctors had told her that she had no womb and that she shouldn’t bother trying to have children. While on her knees, she said, “Lord, the woman who sat here has a womb, and she doesn’t need it anymore. Transfer her womb to me.” By the time she came to testify, she had given birth to five children. She miraculously had a womb transplant by just touching the chair of the original owner of the womb. This is just one of the little things that God can do. He resurrected a dead man after four days in John 11; there is absolutely nothing that God cannot do. One major thing that can limit His ability to work wonders is unbelief. As powerful as Jesus was during His earthly ministry, He could not perform many miracles in His own hometown because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58).

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He would often say to those that He was about to heal, “Your faith has made you whole” (Mark 5:34). In other words, without faith, they would have remained sick.

That big challenge in front of you can be easily solved by God if only you believe. Praying about a problem is not enough; the real question is, “Do you believe that God can solve it?” I have seen many people pray without believing that they will receive answers to their prayers, and because of their unbelief, they miss out on their miracles. James 1:6-7 says:

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Nothing is impossible with God; all you have to do is ask Him in faith. Philippians 4:6 says that when you are praying, you should present your requests to God with thanksgiving. In other words, as you are making your request, you should thank Him simultaneously because you know that He has done it already.

ACTION POINT

Go ahead to make decrees according to God’s word concerning the impossible situations around you, and trust Him to turn them around.

HYMN 27 – What A Friend We Have In Jesus

1 What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer!

2 Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer!

3 Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge–
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he’ll take and shield you;
you will find a solace there.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 Tuesday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – There Is Hope

TOPIC: There Is Hope

MEMORISE: “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” – Job 14:7 (KJV)

READ: Psalm 33:17-22 (KJV)

17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 1-4

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

Hopelessness is dangerous; no matter how bad things get, you must never lose hope. In 1 Kings 19:1-8, when things were not going as Elijah expected, he asked God to kill him because he had lost hope. However, in 1 Kings 21:20, Ahab, whom he was running from, said to him, “Have you found me, my enemy?” The one who was pursuing Elijah had started running from him.

Beloved, don’t let people tell you that your case is hopeless; they are not your God. They did not bring you this far, and so, they cannot control your future. If they say that it is too late for you, tell them that they do not control time; only God controls times and seasons, and He didn’t bring you this far to abandon you. Your tomorrow is going to be alright; therefore, you should remain hopeful. My Helper is still alive; He does not change (Hebrews 13:8). He is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who is, was, and is to come. If He has helped me thus far, He will help me until the end.

I have countless testimonies of times when it looked like all hope was lost, but God stepped in and did the impossible. I remember after my wife had undergone three Caesarean Sections, and the doctors said that she must not get pregnant again. However, we were inspired by Luke 1:37 to try again. Throughout her pregnancy, we didn’t see any doctor. When it was time for her to deliver, she had a prolonged labour, and after three days, I became very afraid. I heard the devil tell me clearly, “Stupid man, you claim to have a PhD; your wife is going to die tonight, and you will see what her relatives will do to you.” When I heard that, a holy anger rose up within me, and I said, “Listen devil, if my wife dies tonight, I will ask the General Superintendent for permission to preach on Sunday, and the first thing I will say is ‘there is nothing my God cannot do.’” Shortly after that, I heard the cry of a baby coming from the maternity ward. My wife was the only one in the ward, so I knew it was our baby.

When God starts something, He finishes it; He doesn’t abandon His children halfway. He is faithful and will see to it that all ends well. Beloved, never lose hope.

KEY POINT

Never lose hope.

HYMN 5 – Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine

1 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

Chorus:
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Saviour all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Saviour all the day long

2 Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight,
Angel descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3 Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love

Open Heaven For Today 2025 Monday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – The Name Above All Names

TOPIC: The Name Above All Names

MEMORISE: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” – Philippians 2:9 (KJV)

READ: Jeremiah 32:17-20 (KJV)

17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name,

19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

20 Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 38-40

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

Years ago, a young man was involved in a road accident in which everyone else died except him. He was taken to a hospital and was in a coma for several days. While still in coma, he would occasionally regain consciousness and shout, “Jesus.” Then, he would relapse. This kept reoccurring until he regained full consciousness. He recovered fully, and He is still alive as I write this.

No matter how helpless a situation is, when you call on the name of Jesus, everything turns around for good. The name of Jesus is enough to bring down any mountain. Philippians 2:10 says:

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”

A young boy, who was the son of a Muslim cleric, gave his life to Christ. His father felt embarrassed that his son had converted to Christianity, and after many arguments and persuasions, it became clear that his son was unwilling to reverse his decision. Feeling frustrated, the father got his fellow clerics to produce a charm to attack his son. One day, he called his son’s name with the charm, and as expected from a son who hears his father’s call, the boy answered. As he answered, the young boy looked up and saw a big rock coming towards him. Immediately, he shouted, “Jesus!” and it disappeared. It was a spiritual attack, but it failed at the mention of the name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus is powerful and potent all by itself. This is why you must learn to use it in the face of impending danger. However, you should not call the name of Jesus in vain or as a mere exclamation. Do not call the name of Jesus casually so you do not attract the wrath of the owner of the name. Even as a human being, you would not like it if people toy with your name; how much more the Most High God? Exodus 20:7 says:

“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain”

Beloved, you will overcome whatever challenges you face if you call upon the name of Jesus. As the Bible says in Romans 10:13, whosoever calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved.

KEY POINT

The name of Jesus is not an ordinary name; it is filled with power!

HYMN 1 – All Hail The Power Of Jesus’ Name

1 All hail the power of Jesus’ Name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown Him Lord of all.

2 Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre,
and as they tune it, fall
Before His face Who tunes their choir,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Before His face Who tunes their choir,
and crown Him Lord of all.

3 Crown Him, ye morning stars of light,
Who fixed this floating ball;
Now hail the strength of Israel’s might,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Now hail the strength of Israel’s might,
and crown Him Lord of all.

4 Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God,
who from His altar call;
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod,
and crown Him Lord of all.

5 Ye seed of Israel’s chosen race,
ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
and crown Him Lord of all.

6 Hail Him, ye heirs of David’s line,
Whom David Lord did call,
The God incarnate, Man divine,
and crown Him Lord of all,
The God incarnate, Man divine,
and crown Him Lord of all.

7 Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget
the wormwood and the gall,
Go spread your trophies at His feet,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Go spread your trophies at His feet,
and crown Him Lord of all.

8 Let every tribe and every tongue
before Him prostrate fall
And shout in universal song
the crownèd Lord of all.
And shout in universal song
the crownèd Lord of all
