MEMORISE: “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” – Isaiah 40:11 (KJV)
READ: John 10:1-14 (KJV)
1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. – Psalm 23:1
Before David confronted Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, he was a shepherd boy in charge of his father’s sheep. One day, a bear came to attack the sheep, and he killed the bear. On another day, a lion came and took a lamb out of the flock; he went after it, delivered the lamb, and killed the lion. David didn’t allow predators to take any of the sheep; he protected them fiercely, even when it meant endangering his life. If David, a mere man, could be so protective of his sheep, how much more the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ? As long as the Lord is your Shepherd, you are assured of supernatural provision, protection, restoration, healing, abundance, and many more divine blessings.
Beloved, the Lord is your shepherd; you are His responsibility. This is why He said in Matthew 6:25-33 that you shouldn’t be worried about what you will eat or wear; just seek Him first, and all the things that people chase after will be added to you naturally.
You must, however, note that only sheep can have the Lord as their shepherd. Matthew 25:32 says that God will separate His sheep from the goats. In that particular Scripture, Jesus used ‘His’ when referring to sheep, but when referring to goats, He used ‘the’. Goats are not for God; only the sheep are His. The question is, are you a sheep?
In John 10:27, Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice. When was the last time you spent time with God to hear His voice? Do you even know His voice? Psalm 100:3 says that the sheep do not belong to themselves; they are like clay in the hands of the potter. According to Matthew 25:33-40, the sheep have love in their hearts; they feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the lonely. Also, the sheep enjoy the Shepherd’s protection when predators attack. Are you a sheep in God’s fold?
The height of a shepherd’s love for his sheep is when he gives his life up for their sake, and Jesus did this when He died on the cross (John 10:11, John 15:13). Beloved, have you accepted the everlasting provision of the Good Shepherd for your salvation? If you haven’t, you need to do so right now. When the Lord is your Shepherd, you have everything you need. Being a sheep in God’s flock is the best thing that can ever happen to you.
Prayer Point
Shepherd of my soul, I give you full control today and always.
HYMN 13 – JESUS LOVES ME, THIS I KNOW
1 Jesus loves me, this I know, For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to him belong;
They are weak, but he is strong.
Refrain:
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
2 Jesus loves me He who died
Heaven’s gate to open wide.
He will wash away my sin,
Let his little child come in. [Refrain]
3 Jesus loves me, loves me still
Tho’ I’m very weak and ill
From His shining throne on high
He will watch me where I lie.
4 Jesus loves me He will stay
Close beside me all the way,
If I love Him when I die
He will take me home on high.

MEMORISE: “I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” – Psalm 16:8 (KJV)
READ: Genesis 28:10-22 (KJV)
10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13 And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not.
17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.
20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,
21 So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God:
22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there. – Ezekiel 48:35
Whether you believe it or not, whether you feel Him or not, the Lord is always with you. The three Hebrew boys seemed to be alone when they confronted the king, but when they got into the fiery furnace, it became clear to everyone that Jesus was there with them (Daniel 3:8-30).
When God is with you, nothing can stand in your way. There’s a story I love to tell about three little but distinct fishes that were being terrorised by a mother shark and her baby in the ocean. One day, they called a prayer meeting and invited the Lord to come. When the Lord came, He asked them what the problem was and what they wanted. The first fish said, “I want to have eyes all over my body so I will be able to see the sharks when they are approaching from any angle.” The second fish said, “Lord, give me powerful wings so I can fly out of the ocean when the sharks are pursuing me.” The Lord granted the two fishes their requests, and when He turned to the last fish to ask what it wanted, it said, “All I want is for you to be with me everywhere I go.”
When the Lord left, the sharks came again, and the fish with many eyes was their first target as it looked beautiful because it had eyes all over its body. The fish saw them coming and swam towards a beach. It saw a pool of water on the beach and jumped into it. Unfortunately, when the sun rose, the pool dried up, and the fish died. When the sharks went after the fish with wings, it flew out of the water, but an eagle that was flying by quickly grabbed and ate it. The third fish remained safe because whenever the mother shark and her baby approached it, they always saw the shadow of a man following it, and this scared them off. The fish that asked for God’s presence survived and thrived in the midst of danger.
Beloved, God’s presence is your only guarantee against the terrors of life. He alone can keep you safe. Jehovah Shammah means ‘the Lord is there’, and when God is there with you in your office, business, family, or any other area of your life, nothing evil done against you will prosper.
Prayer Point
Thank You, Lord, for Your ever-abiding presence in my life.
HYMN 29 – When Peace Like A River Attendeth My Way
1 When peace like a river
attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot,
thou hast taught me to say, It is well,
it is well with my soul.
Refrain
(may be sung after final stanza only):
It is well with my soul;
it is well, it is well with my soul.
2 Though Satan should buffet, though trials
should come,
let this blest assurance control:
that Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
and has shed his own blood for my soul.
Refrain
3 My sin oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
my sin, not in part, but the whole,
is nailed to the cross,
and I bear it no more;
praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
Refrain
4 O Lord, haste the day
when my faith shall be sight,
the clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
the trump shall resound and the Lord shall
descend;
even so, it is well with my soul. Refrain

MEMORISE: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
READ: Genesis 22:1-14 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 22-24
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
The name Jehovah Jireh was coined by Abraham after his experience with God on Mount Moriah. He had gone there to sacrifice Isaac, but God had already provided a lamb for the sacrifice instead of Isaac. He called the name of the place Jehovah Jireh because he was basically saying, “God meets needs before they even arise.” In that passage, Abraham had no idea where the ram came from. In the same vein, you also do not need to know how God will provide for your needs. All you need do is trust Him and know that He will provide.
God can send help to you from anywhere, even from places you are not aware of. When I became General Overseer, I visited my village, and a local businessman said to me, “You are a General Overseer now, and there is no house here in the village for your guests to stay in. I will supply you with blocks to build a house, and you can pay me whenever you have the money.” I thought to myself, “Oh, what a miracle from God.” I then built a very small house. However, the day the house was roofed, the businessman sent a messenger to demand immediate payment for the blocks. I didn’t have any money, so l cried to God, “Father, I was not ready to build a house. It was this man who brought the idea to me, and now, I am in trouble. Please help me.” I prayed all night and then fell asleep. In the morning, I had a visitor who said that God told her to travel all the way down from the North to the Redemption Camp to give me an envelope. When she saw me, she asked, “I am looking for the head of this church.” I replied, “That is God” Then, she said, “I know, but I am looking for His representative.” I said, “That is me.” She then said, “God told me yesterday to bring you this envelope.” I had never met her, and I haven’t seen her again since then. I opened the envelope, and it was the exact amount that I owed the businessman.
Our God is truly Jehovah Jireh – the Great Provider. You may not know where, when, or how your needs will be met, but rest assured that He will always provide.
Prayer Point
Father, please send help to me today, in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 27 – WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
1 What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer!
2 Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer!
3 Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he’ll take and shield you;
you will find a solace there.
