BIBLE READING: 2 Timothy 4:2-5

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

MESSAGE:

Soul-winning is very paramount to God, and today’s memory verse considers those who win souls as wise. Soul-winning is also one major occurrence on earth that makes heaven rejoice. The Bible tells us in Luke 15:7 that there is joy in heaven over a sinner who repents and turns to God.

As a Christian teenager, you should learn to share Jesus’ love with your peers and everyone around you. You may be actively engaged in church activities, and that is commendable. However, leading unbelievers to Christ is a vital aspect of your Christian journey that must not be ignored

My dear child, I admonish you today to strive to be a beacon of hope in your school, neighbourhood, or online community. Start by sharing simple truths such as: “Jesus loves you,” or “God is always there for you.” Your age doesn’t limit your ability to make an impact or win souls for Christ. The Holy Spirit can empower you to speak boldly. Even if you witness to unbelievers and they don’t respond, your words can plant seeds that will grow over time in their lives. All you need to do is to keep speaking to them about Jesus and trust God to do the rest.

ACTION POINT
Today, share the gospel of Jesus Christ with a friend, classmate, or even Someone online.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Mark 14:51-72, Deuteronomy 23-25

HYMN 74 – Revive Thy Work, O Lord

1 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Thy mighty arm make bare;
speak with the voice that wakes the dead,
and make Thy people hear.

Refrain:
Revive Thy work, 0 Lord,
while here to Thee we bow;
descend, O gracious Lord, descend!
O come and bless us now.

2 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
now let us thirst for Thee;
and hung’ring for the bread of life
may all our spirits be.

3 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
exalt Thy precious name;
and, by the Holy Ghost, our love
for Thee and Thine inflame.

4 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
give pow’r unto Thy word;
grant that Thy blessed gospel may
in living faith be heard.

5 Revive Thy work, 0 Lord,
and give refreshing show’rs;
the glory shall be all Thine own,
the blessing, Lord, be ours.
