BIBLE READING: Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
MESSAGE:
Your mind has the power to shape your life either positively or negatively. If you allow worldly influences to dictate your thoughts, you will gradually drift away from God’s purpose for your life. However, when you anchor your mind on His truth, you will grow spiritually and walk in purpose and fulfilment. True transformation begins with a deliberate renewal of the mind.
Thankful to God
Isaiah 26:3 assures those who keep their minds fixed on God of perfect peace. This is because He fills their hearts with wisdom, faith, and clarity. Instead of allowing fear, Worry, or negativity to consume you, meditate on God’s promises. When your mind is filled with truth and hope, you will gain strength and stability, even in life’s toughest seasons.
My dear child, I encourage you to make mind renewal a daily practice by focusing on what is true, just, pure, and praiseworthy. A renewed mind is fortified against doubt, fear, and anxiety. Cultivate the habit of studying the Bible every day, allowing God’s Word to shape your thoughts and guide your decisions. As you do so, you can be Confident that your life will be transformed by faith and anchored in hope.
REFLECTION:
Is your mind being renewed daily in alignment with God’s word?
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Luke 6:1-26; Joshua 21-22
HYMN 15: Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour
1 Pass me not, O gentle Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
REFRAIN:
Saviour, Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
2 Let me, at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.
3 Trusting only in Thy merit
Would I seek Thy face
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.
4 Thou, the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me.
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in heav’n but Thee?
