Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
It has been established throughout Scripture that soul winning is the heartbeat of God (Luke 14:23, Luke 15:11-32).
We were saved to reach out to others for their salvation.
Any Christian who is interested in soul-winning gives joy to heaven. And to make heaven joyful is to be positioned in permanent joy on earth. To be interested in what interests God makes God interested in what concerns you.

Now, seeing how crucial soul-winning is, it is important, therefore, to understand what it takes to engage in soul-winning with tangible results.
One of the forces that guarantees results in soul-winning is the impact of the Holy Spirit.
Today, we shall be looking at the impact of the Holy Spirit in soul-winning and what it takes to walk with the Holy Spirit for soul-winning.
The Holy Spirit is the Senior Partner of the church and the saints in the assignment of soul winning.
In Acts 2:1-6, the Holy Ghost descended on the Apostles who were timid and afraid, and they began to witness with power, and souls were converted to Christ.
So, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit is needed for effective, effortless, and fruitful evangelism.
Now, what is the impact of the Holy Spirit on the assignment of soul winning. What does the Holy Spirit do?
- The Holy Spirit saturate our hearts with love for God, which translates automatically into love for souls (Romans 5:5). Anyone who genuinely loves God will love souls (1 John 4:20).
- The Holy Spirit imparts the saint with boldness for preaching and evangelism (2 Timothy 1:6-7, Acts 4:31).
- The Holy Spirit imparts the saint with witnessing power (Acts 1:8). That is, when the Spirit of God is in you, you don’t speak empty or powerless words (Acts 2:37).
I remember what happened one evening, in my days in the university, when I stood in front of the female hostel preaching. The power of the Word was so forceful that one young lady closed her ears and said, “Please don’t preach to us again; it is enough.” Obviously, it was the devil in her that was reacting.
- The Holy Spirit guides the saints to souls that are ripe for salvation. (Romans 8:14, Acts 8:29 29).
- The Holy Spirit convicts the sinner of sin. (John 16:7-9). Most sinners don’t know the weight of their sins until they are convicted by the Holy Spirit.
It is not the articulation of your words or the Scripture that you quote that convicts sinners unto repentance, but the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now, how do we walk with the Spirit to see his results in soul winning?
- Maintain the climate of worship (Ephesians 5:18-20, Romans 14:17). You can not afford depression, heaviness, or sadness if you want the flow of the Holy Spirit.
- Maintain a clear conscience. The spirit of God is called the spirit of holiness (Romans 1:4, Acts 24:16).
- Pray abundantly in the spirit. Pray abundantly in the Spirit if you want the Holy Spirit to be at work (2 Timothy 1:6).
Beloved, build a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit, and always have the consciousness of partnership with Him as you engage in the assignment of soul winning and you will see results and have rewards in time and in eternity.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Endeavour to win at least one soul per month.
- Let your lifestyle preach a message to unbelievers.
- Ask the Holy Ghost to lead you to souls that are ripe for salvation and convict them as you preach to them.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace for effective soul winning. Guide my steps to souls that are ripe and ready for harvest, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
