BIBLE TEXT: Revelation 4:9-11

9 And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth forever and ever,

10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.

MESSAGE:

God is happy whenever His children praise Him, which moves Him to grant their requests. Praise can be in singing, dancing, shouting for joy, etc. Whichever style you choose, praising God is giving honor to Him, and it is the most potent instrument to move God. As a matter of fact, the entire creation was made to praise God. When you get to heaven, you will have one assignment forever: praising God. He personally inhabits the praises of His children. Credit will move God to stand to help bless, deliver, save, and defend you.

Praises bring victory, as seen in our memory verse for today. When the enemies think they have blocked your way or captured you, praise God, who will deliver you. Praise causes overnight miracles. When you praise God, it makes You happy because you remind Him how powerful He is.

ACTION POINT:

Praise God today for the next 30 minutes.

HYMN 10 – Praise, My Soul, The King Of Heaven

  1. Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
To His feet your tribute bring.
    ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Who like thee His praises should sing?
    Praise Him! Praise Him!
    Praise the everlasting King!
  2. Praise Him for His grace and favor
    To our fathers in distress.
Praise Him, still the same as ever,
Slow to chide and swift to bless.
    Praise Him! Praise Him!
    Glorious in His faithfulness!
  3. Father-like, He tends and spares us; He knows our feeble frame.
In His hands, He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
    Praise Him! Praise Him!
    Widely yet, His mercy flows!
  4. Angels, help us to adore Him; Ye behold Him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before Him,
Dwellers are all in time and space.
    Praise Him! Praise Him!
Praise with us, the God of grace!

Ambydennis Notice Board: We trust you have been blessed by the devotional. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal savior is one of the best decisions one can take, especially you; imagine having Christ in your life; what a fantastic experience it will be. It starts here as you proclaim: Dear Father, I humbly come to you in sincere repentance, claiming you as my Lord and personal Saviour. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness, be the center of my life, and let my life revolve around you as I partake in the eternal life you gave us in Jesus’ Name. Congratulations, you are now Born again. God bless you.
