TOPIC: Facilitators Of Faith (Seeds Of Destiny 16 July 2026)
SCRIPTURE: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith works best in a heart that is pure, loving, visionary, and full of the Spirit.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Faith does not function in isolation. Just as a car cannot move without fuel, engine oil, and other essentials, faith also requires certain forces to make it potent and effective.
I call these forces facilitators of faith, and we shall look at four (4) of them in our study today.
- A good conscience. The Bible makes it clear that there is a strong connection between faith and a pure conscience. 1 Timothy 1:19 says, Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck.
A defiled conscience weakens faith because boldness cannot thrive where guilt and condemnation exist. The devil constantly accuses people with unclear conscience, making it difficult for them to approach God confidently.
That is why Hebrews 10:22 says that we draw near to God “having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.” Access to God is strengthened by a clean heart. Samuel operated in audacious faith because his conscience was clear before God and men. Paul also testified that he behaved “holily and justly and unblameably.” (1 Thessalonians 2:10).
Even Jesus asked, “Which of you convinceth me of sin?” (John 8:46). A pure conscience strengthens confidence before God.
Metal (Music)
- Love. Galatians 5:6 says, “Faith which worketh by love.” Faith works by love for God and love for people. Love believes all things and refuses to give up. Love makes impossible situations look possible.
The Shunammite woman refused to let her dead child go because of love. Compassion moved Jesus to heal the sick (Mathew 14:14). Love pushes people to dare impossible situations because love believes that God will always remain faithful to His Word. Moreover, to love is to attract the Presence of God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8). And the Presence of God potentiates faith. The Presence of God makes faith effortless (Galatians 5:6).
- Vision. Faith sees before manifestation happens. Moses endured because he saw Him, who is invisible. David saw Goliath defeated before the battle began (1 Samuel 17:46). Joseph kept his dreams before him until they became reality. Reality happens twice: first in the mind, then in real-life situations. Vision confirms possibility and eliminates doubt from the heart. What faith sees internally eventually manifests physically.
- Praying in the Spirit. Jude 1:20 says, “Building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.” Praying in the Spirit stirs boldness, love, power, and a sound mind. It strengthens the inner man and activates the Spirit of faith. Even Jesus groaned in the Spirit at the grave of Lazarus before the miracle occurred (John 11:33).
Beloved, if your faith must produce results, you must maintain a pure conscience, walk in love, have a clear vision, and pray consistently in the Holy Ghost.
REMEMBER THIS: Faith works best in a heart that is pure, loving, visionary, and full of the Spirit.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Maintain a conscience that is pure before God and men.
- Walk deliberately in love toward God and towards people.
- Build your faith daily by reading and meditating on God’s Word and praying in the Holy Ghost.
PRAYER: Father, help me to maintain a pure heart, walk in love, have a clear vision, and remain full of Your Spirit so my faith can produce undeniable results, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
