TOPIC: Confrontation – A Trigger For The Anointing (Seeds Of Destiny 1 March 2026)
SCRIPTURE: And, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. Judges 14:5-6.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Sometime ago, I was told that some demonic land grabbers who were fond of snatching land from people went to one of our church locations in the Southern part of Nigeria on a Sunday morning claiming ownership of the land on which the church was built. At this point, the church building was almost at the finishing and dedication stage.

The question one would ask is, where were they looking while the foundation of the construction was being laid? The construction progressed to the roofing stage and was about to be completed and dedicated, only for them to come with bulldozers and other destructive equipment to confront and harass the church.
When I heard of it, I decreed, “They are judged instantly.” Following that decree, after some days, the youth of the community rose against those agents and began to burn down their belongings. The youth rose and said, “Enough, it’s enough! You don’t take what is not yours. You have been doing this for a while, but today, it’s enough!”
Suddenly, the land grabbers and their agents who assisted them also began to clash with each other.
You see, judgment was decreed, and it answered on the spot. They had been carrying out their wicked acts unchallenged in the town all this while until they dared the mantle.
Now, the essence of this story is to let us know that there is a connection between pressure, confrontation, and the release of anointing.
Confrontation provokes the release of power.
Concerning Samson, our anchor Scripture says, Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. (Judges 14:5-6).
We did not hear about the mighty arrival of the Spirit of the Lord on Samson until the lion roared. And the Spirit of the Lord did not just rise; it rose mightily to a proportionate degree to the confrontation that arrived. And Samson tore the lion into pieces.
The truth is, in every fresh battle, there is a fresh mantle. You may not experience the mighty rise of the Spirit until certain things rise against you.
Beloved, you may be facing a situation of persecution, confrontation, or pressure, but the anointing is rising upon you to crush what is confronting you. Something is coming upon you that will make you say, “Enough, it’s enough!” to the demons attacking your life, family, community, or nation.
David, even though he had been previously anointed, only became king in the real sense because Goliath arose (1 Samuel chapter 17). David would not have been David as he was known without Goliath.
The Lord ministered the following words to me some time ago, “The things that came to stop you are actually the things that came to step you up. The plan was to stop you, but the end of it was that they stepped you up.”
Beloved, that challenge came to shift you from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
That issue came to shift you to your destiny. So, in times of pressure and confrontation, hold your ground and make demands on the Power of God that is to be generated, and you will emerge victorious.
Remember this: In every fresh battle, there is a fresh mantle.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse to give up when you are confronted.
- Make demands on the release of the mantle to handle every battle.
- Engage the Word in the midst of confrontation.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to overcome every confrontation around my life by the anointing. I count on Your Power for victory, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
