MEMORISE: The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. – Haggai 2:8 (KJV)

READ: Psalm 50:10-15 (KJV)

Open Heaven book

10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Open Heaven For Today 2026 MESSAGE

Over the past few days, I have discussed how God cannot be hindered by opposition, circumstances, or time. I will continue this series today by discussing how He rules in the affairs of men and cannot be hindered by resources.

Daily Devotional Book

Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof: the world, and they that dwell therein.” There is no need that is too great for God, the One who made the earth and its fullness, to meet. The world’s richest man today only has a fraction of the earth’s resources. Also, the combined wealth of the world’s richest people is only a drop in the ocean compared to the vast riches that God has put on earth. In Mark 6:35-44, when a multitude gathered before Jesus and the disciples were worried about how to feed them, He asked them to search if they could find some loaves of bread, but all they found was a little boy’s meal. I am sure the disciples must have thought that Jesus would laugh when they brought it to Him, but He took that little meal and multiplied it to feed over 5,000 people. When you give your little resources to the Lord, He will ensure that you have more than you need.

In 2 Kings 4:42-44, a man brought some foodstuff to Elisha that would have lasted him for a couple of days or weeks. However, Elisha was not alone; he had 100 other men, sons of the prophets, with him. When he asked his servant to serve the men, the servant wondered how such a small quantity of food would be enough. However, when the word of the Unlimited God came, that little food fed 100 men, and there were leftovers. When the word of the Lord comes upon the little you have, it will be more than enough.

Pastor Adeboye Books

In today’s memory verse, God said that silver and gold belong to Him. Likewise, in today’s Bible reading, He said that the beasts of the field and the cattle upon a thousand hills are His. God has unlimited resources, and one way to enjoy them is to live a life of thanksgiving. When you appreciate God for everything He has done, He will do much more. It is the will of God that you give thanks in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Beloved, make giving thanks to your heavenly Father your lifestyle. There is no limit to what God can supply when you give Him thanks in all things.

KEY POINT

God is not limited by resources.

HYMN 18 – Praise To The Lord The Almighty, The King Of Creation

1 Praise to the Lord,
the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health
and salvation:
Join the great throng
psaltery, organ and song
sounding in glad adoration.

Open Heaven book

2 Praise to the Lord,
over all things he gloriously reigneth:
Borne as on eagle-wings, safely his saints,
He sustaineth
Has thou not seen
How all thou needest hath been
Granted in what he ordaineth?

3 Praise to the Lord,
Who doth prosper thy way and defend thee;
Surely his goodness and mercy shall ever
attend thee; ponder anew,
What the almighty can do
Who with his love doth befriend thee.

4 Praise to the Lord!
O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has breath join with Abraham’s
Seed to adore him! Let the Amen,
Sum all our praises again;
Now as we worship before him.

MEMORISE: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: – Daniel 2:21 (KJV)

READ: John 11:20-44 (KJV)

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.

21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.

29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.

30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.

Pastor Adeboye Books

31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.

32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.

34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

35 Jesus wept.

36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Open Heaven For Today 2026 MESSAGE

Open Heaven book

Today, as I continue discussing the unlimited nature of the Almighty God, I want to let you know that He is also not limited by time because He controls times and seasons, as we see in today’s memory verse. He enthrones kings and dethrones them at will. He is the source of all wisdom, and He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. I declare that regardless of the challenges you may be facing, the Unlimited God, who controls times and seasons, will turn everything around for your good, in Jesus’ name.

There is nothing called ‘too late’ with God because time cannot stop Him when He wants to achieve something. In today’s Bible reading, everyone, including Lazarus’ sisters, thought it was too late for Jesus to do anything about Lazarus’ situation because he was now dead. However, Jesus said, “I am never late.” The sisters felt that Jesus didn’t understand how bad the situation was, and one of them, Martha, said, “By now, he will have started stinking.” They didn’t know that it is never too late for God to showcase His glory. I decree that every blessing that has been considered ‘too late’ for you will begin to manifest in your life.

A woman was barren, and her husband had spent large sums of money seeking a solution to her barrenness to no avail. Finally, they went to a professor who decided to run some special tests on her, and he discovered that the woman had no ovaries. He called the husband aside and said, “Why are you wasting your time? Your wife has no ovaries. She cannot produce an egg for you to fertilise. Forget it; you can never have children!” On hearing the professor’s report, the woman concluded that her case was hopeless and she would never have children. However, her husband said, “That’s the doctor’s report. Let’s go and hear Jesus’ report.” He brought her to one of the RCCG conventions, and as I laid my hands on her, she fell under the anointing and remained on the ground for about 45 minutes. I thought she was sleeping because the programme was held at night, but I didn’t know that my Father was performing a special operation on her. The following year, the woman came back rejoicing with her baby.

Beloved, I pray for you today that the Unlimited God will cancel any report that is contrary to His will for your life, in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 25 – The Great Physician Now Is Near

1 The great Physician now is near,
the sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,
oh! hear the voice of Jesus.

Refrain:
Sweetest note in seraph song,
sweetest name on mortal tongue;
sweetest carol ever sung,
Jesus, blessed Jesus.

2 Your many sins are all forgiven,
oh! hear the voice of Jesus;
go on your way in peace to heaven,
and wear a crown with Jesus. [Refrain]

Open Heaven For Today 2026 MESSAGE

Over the past two days, I’ve discussed how God cannot be hindered by opposition or seemingly impossible situations. Today, I want to talk about how the Almighty God reveals His invincible nature in the midst of circumstances that seem to be out of control.

Prayer guide book

A lady once came to me crying for help. When I asked her what the problem was, she said that her husband abandoned her with their four children and went to live with another woman who had five children from other men. The lady told me, “I fought and did everything I could to keep my husband, but I lost. Now, I want God to help me.” I told her that the issue was a simple one since she had decided to allow God to help her. I prayed with her and assured her that her husband would return home to apologise to her. A few days later, her husband and the strange woman started quarrelling, and the strange woman said to him, “Don’t you know you are out of your senses? If you are within your senses, how will you leave your wife and your four children to come and stay with a woman who has five children, none of which are yours?” The man replied, “That is true, you know.” He acknowledged that he was out of his senses, so he packed his belongings and returned home. When he got home, he pleaded with his wife to take him back, and she did. I decree that all your defeats shall be turned to victory, in Jesus’ name. Wherever things have gone out of control in your life, the Unlimited God will step in and rearrange them in your favour.

When an election was drawing near in Nigeria some years ago, some people were panicking because things seemed very uncertain. I asked some of them, “Do you think God is scratching His head and asking Himself, ‘What is the best action to take now?” No situation catches the Almighty God by surprise, and no situation is too complicated for Him to unravel. Everyone and everything we see on earth is under His feet because heaven is His throne, and the earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1).

Beloved, do not ever be anxious about situations that seem to be out of control. Place them in the hands of the Unlimited God; he will bring everything under control and give you peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

PRAYER POINT

Father, I place every aspect of my life in Your unlimited hands. Please take control, in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 21 – My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less

1 My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Chorus:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2 When darkness seems to veils His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3 His oath, His covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4 When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
