TOPIC: Have Confident Anticipation (TREM Devotional 4 April 2025)
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” (Psalms 62:5 KJV)
MESSAGE:
Child of God, I challenge you today, to live every day of your life with confident expectation, knowing that you serve a God that can do all things. In times like this, you should live with great expectations because this is your finest hour. No matter how tough the situation is, believe that it is possible. Be encouraged and expect something good in your life always.
The book of Proverbs 23:18 (KJV) says, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” God is up to something good for you and He is constantly thinking of you. So, if God is good and He thinks of you always, then expect something good to happen to you.
It is so easy to get caught up in the challenges around you that you forget to rejoice in the Lord. It is so easy to get overwhelmed by the news all around that you join the world in saying the wrong things, and rather than build your faith, you unconsciously strengthen your fears and doubts by the words of your mouth. I encourage you today to become conscious of the things you say and the company you hang around. Anyone that will not strengthen your faith should not speak into your life.
No matter what the devil is doing, this is still your year of rest, and you will experience all round rest in the name of Jesus. Whatever your desires might be, the Lord will cause it to be made made manifest.
When the battle is hottest, look around, you are about to turn the corner. You MAYbe in a heavy-duty battle right now but God sent me to tell you that you are entering your wealthy place, your place of rest. Every word of prophecy spoken over your life shall be established. For it is written, “And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.” (Hosea 12:13 KJV)
I declare that you will not fall and you will not fall. The devil will not eat your lunch. Evil shall bow before you and the wicked at your gate.
