MEMORISE: “For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” – Genesis 13:15 (KJV)
READ: Numbers 13:16-33 (KJV)
16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
18 And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;
Adeboye audiobook
20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.
21 So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
24 The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.
27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Open Heaven book
God and Abraham had a conversation one night in Genesis 15:3-6, and Abraham reminded God that He had not given him an heir. In response, God told him to go outside and see if he could count the stars. He then told him that his children would be as many as the stars. You might wonder, “Why did God have to tell Abraham to go outside and look at the stars? Why didn’t He just tell him that his descendants would be so many that it would be impossible to count them?” I believe it was because God needed Abraham to see what he would be getting.
Similarly, in Genesis 13:14-17, God told Abraham, “All the land you see shall be yours.” He also said, “Move away from where you are, walk through the land as far as you can, and it shall all be yours.” God knew that for Abraham to own the land, he had to first have a vision of it. In any situation you find yourself, what you see is what you will get. In an economy where people complain that things are tough, if you see poverty, that is what you will get; likewise, if you see abundance, you will experience it. In a situation where doctors say there is no hope, if you see life, you will have life. All you have to do is regulate your faith to see only what Jesus has promised you, and that is what you will get.
In today’s Bible reading, Moses sent the twelve spies to check out the land of Canaan, and they came back with reports. While Caleb and Joshua saw themselves inhabiting the land, the remaining ten spies saw giants and a land that swallowed up its inhabitants. Joshua and Caleb saw God’s mighty ability, but the others saw themselves as grasshoppers. In the end, everyone got what they saw. The ten spies were swallowed up in the wilderness while Joshua and Caleb got into the land and inhabited it (Numbers 32:11-12).
Beloved, what do you see in your life, marriage, or career? Whatever you see is what you will get. If you see victory, you will walk in it. However, if you see defeat, you will experience it. God wants you to see correctly, and the only way to do this is to know what He says in His word. What has God said about your home, children, career, health, and life? Believe His promises concerning you, and they shall come to pass.
KEY POINT
No matter the circumstances that surround you, stand by what God has promised in His word.
HYMN 11 – Standing On The Promises Of Christ Our King

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Today’s memory verse says that Jesus is standing at the door of your heart right now, knocking and waiting for you to let Him in. Every time you hear a word from God that convicts you of sin, that is Jesus saying, “Let me into your heart so I can cleanse your heart of sin.” You have no idea what Jesus Christ can do for you when you let Him into your heart. The moment you let Jesus in, your past will no longer determine your future – only Jesus will. With Jesus living in you, your future will only get brighter and brighter (Proverbs 4:18).
You may say, “I already let Jesus into my heart some time ago.” That is good, but do you still get convicted of certain sins when you listen to a sermon or read your Bible? If yes, that means there are some parts of your life that Jesus hasn’t taken over yet, and He is knocking on the door of your heart so you can let Him in. There is no partial salvation; Ephesians 5:27 says that Jesus is coming for a bride without blemish or wrinkle. If there’s still a blemish in your life, surrender it completely to Jesus Christ today.
You may also say, “I have a good relationship with Jesus.” However, there is more. David described a relationship with God as a journey into the deep. He said, “Deep calleth unto deep.” (Psalm 42:7). After walking, eating, and talking with Jesus during His earthly ministry for three and a half years, John saw Him in a vision in Revelation 4:1, and Jesus told him, “…Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” There are always higher realms in God, and Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, knocking and calling you to come up higher. It is not enough to just confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour; there is more. God wants you to operate in His miraculous power (Mark 16:17-18). He wants you to be an agent of change, but you need the power of the Holy Spirit to do that. There will always be higher doors to enter and deeper realms to access in God.
Beloved, Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart today. He is calling you to higher and deeper levels in your relationship with Him. Open your heart to Him; He will beautify your life with His glory and make you an agent of change for His kingdom.
PRAYER POINTS
Lord Jesus, I open my heart to You. Please lead me into more glorious levels in You, in Jesus’ name
HYMN 23 – Take My Life, And Let It Be
1 Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days;
let them flow in endless praise,
let them flow in endless praise.
2 Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for thee,
swift and beautiful for thee.
3 Take my voice and let me sing
always, only, for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
filled with messages from thee,
filled with messages from thee.
4 Take my silver and my gold;
not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use
every power as thou shalt choose,
every power as thou shalt choose.
5 Take my will and make it thine;
it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart it is thine own;
it shall be thy royal throne,
it shall be thy royal throne.
6 Take my love; my Lord, I pour
at thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be
ever, only, all for thee,
ever, only, all for thee.

TOPIC – Have You Encountered Jesus?
MEMORISE: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John 1:1 (KJV)
READ: Acts 9:1-6 (KJV)
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Micah 1-4
Open Heaven 22 September 2025 MESSAGE
One can easily assume that everyone who attends church regularly or functions in a department within a church has encountered Jesus. However, in my experience, I have realised that many people are working hard in the Lord’s vineyard but haven’t had an encounter with Him. They know a lot about Him, but they don’t know Him.
Paul thought he knew God until the day he had an encounter with Jesus Christ. When you truly meet Jesus, you will become a completely new person. Before Paul met Jesus, he persecuted believers. However, when he met Him, his story changed. In 1 Timothy 1:13-16, he spoke about his horrible past as a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an injurious person, and how he obtained mercy from God. In Christ, he became a Chief Apostle (2 Corinthians 11:5) and fulfilled his destiny (2 Timothy 4:6-7).
Peter was just another fisherman from Galilee before he met Jesus. However, when he met Jesus, he was given a glorious destiny (Luke 5:10). Even when he failed and denied Jesus, his future was still secure because of his encounter with Jesus. When a man meets Jesus, his failures and weaknesses become part of his success story because God works all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Isaiah thought he knew God until he had an encounter in Isaiah 6 that changed his life. When he saw the Lord in His glory, he fell on his face and cried, “…Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts” (Isaiah 6:5). After meeting the Lord, Isaiah was willing to go wherever the Lord sent Him. When you truly meet Jesus, all your excuses will be burnt away like chaff.
Beloved, if you genuinely want to meet Jesus, make it mandatory for yourself to study God’s word every day. Revelation 19:13 says that He is the Word of God. When you study the word of God, you are fellowshipping with Jesus Christ. The more of God’s word you study, the closer you will get to Him. It will be difficult at first because the devil will try to stop you, but as you keep at it, you will discover that you are being transformed because you are getting to know the Son of God for yourself.
PRAYER POINTS
Lord Jesus, please reveal Yourself to me in Your word. I want to know You more and follow You for the rest of my life.
HYMN 2 – Amazing Grace
1 Amazing grace (how sweet the sound)
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
was blind, but now I see.
2 ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed!
3 Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come:
’tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.
4 The Lord has promised good to me,
his word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be
as long as life endures.
5 Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease:
I shall possess, within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.
6 The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
the sun forbear to shine;
but God, who called me here below,
will be forever mine.
