TOPIC: Prepare Yourself For Him (Rhapsody of Realities 29 January 2024)

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Luke 21:25-26).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Some signs indicate where we are now and how much longer the world has been before the judge-go segments of the nations began. Therefore, no matter where you are today, I want you to know Jesus is coming soon.

Some believe it and are waiting for Him. Others don’t think He’s coming, so they do not expect Him. But He’s coming, so prepare yourself for Him. He’s coming for those “…that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8) who are ready for Him.

The Bible says those waiting for His return are blessed (Luke 12:37). So live your life as though it could be any minute. 1 Corinthians 15:52 says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Remember, it’s almost two thousand years since Jesus levitated and ascended from this world. The words of the prophets about His coming are all being fulfilled before our eyes. He said by Himself, “…Surely I come quickly…” (Revelation 22:20).

Statistics show that today’s world is marked by deliberate cruelty, violence, terrorism, viciousness, and inhumanity beyond what humanity has ever seen. The pressures of life are greater today than ever before. Therefore, don’t be caught unawares. Stay in Christ, in righteousness, and keep living for Him. Light up your world with the Gospel. The Bible says in Philippians 2:15-16 “… That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, amid a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life….” Take this seriously.

Give your time, resources, and energy to preaching the Gospel until it reaches the ends of the earth! Prepare yourself and prepare others for the soon coming of the Lord.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life, who has sanctified me for your glory and keeps me on the path of righteousness. Thank you for the privilege of preaching and proclaiming the Gospel, turning many to righteousness, and preparing them for your soon return, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Luke 21:34-38 – 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 37 And in the day he was teaching in the temple, and at night he went out, and abode in the mount called the mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

Matthew 24:42-44 42 Watch, therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know that: goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Mark 16:15-16 – 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
